I didn't realize how much I wanted to go to Senior Week until last night. It didn't seem that important and then I realized that was why I couldn't find my friends.
My first bite of freedom shouldn't have tasted like metal desks and dirty keyboards, but salty ocean air and boardwalk fries. I shouldn't have had to get up at six a.m. again to sit at those same desks and feel my brain turning to mush with each tax return that went by and they all start to run together and make my eyes hurt.
I feel like the beginning of my last summer will inevitably be wasted until July gets here and the escape tunnel leads to the seats of an airplane. Three weeks where I can be away from home and do things that aren't in any way, shape, or form related to working.
More later. Running out now. Sigh.

What honestly makes parents think that their children are desparate enough to go to the movies with them? Seriously, if I'm going to a movie where I positively know I'm going to be fangirling majorly, I certainly do not want my parents there. Not whatsoever. That just sucks the fun out of everything. I wanted to go see Kingdom of Heaven but it's not playing anywhere near anymore and I'm absolutely not going to see an Orlando Bloom movie with my parents. Hell fucking no. That's weird and awkward and not going to happen. It was bad enough seeing Pirates Of The Caribbean with my brother.
So I wanted to see Lords Of Dogtown since KOH wasn't playing but of course, it's at the mall and my Dad's picky and hates the seats there and it's about skateboarding so it's useless trying to get my parents to understand it. I can't get a hold of any of my friends and I really didn't plan on staying in on a Satruday night. Where's the fun in that? I just wanna hang out with my friends. Not go to the movies with my parents.
Sigh.

So I had a big recap of last night (prom) but I decided I couldn't be bothered to type out the whole thing. So. Key points.
-Limo Ride: Us girls (Me, Emmy, Dru, Nicky, Kristi) singing along to random music having the windows open and sunroof down. Freezing our asses off.
-Prom itself: Had a blast lots of dancing, music, yummy frozen drinks, fun, more dancing and of course, a little drama. It just wouldn't be our circle of friends without some drama mixed in. I am a bit miffed with teh Ghei!Malfoy. *fumes*
-Prom Breakfast: Suck ass. It was boring and cheesy and I was getting a migrane and exhausted. Left around 2am-ish and took Emmy home then went home and promptly got out of my dress. It was boiling and starting to get irritating. Got home at 2:30.
*No, Tony didn't go. Hrrrgh. *splodes*
My body hurts.

HFStival was fucking amazing.
I woke up at 6ish to shower and get ready. I wore my Billy Idol shirt got many compliments. To be explained later. We (Dru, Jessie, and Olivia) left from Jessie's house at about 8ish got to the lightrail at 8:30 or something and the train didn't come till nearly 10. Saw Kymei for the first time in a while. As well as Karl, Dylan, and Eddie X_X Wasn't so psyched on that. And it was the train ride from hell. The most obnoxious, loud, irritating people ever just had to be in the same car as us. Was texting with Kitten throughout the ride because it took my mind off how much I wanted to blow up the people on the train.
Got there and went inside walked around a bit with Jessie and Olivia to the tents and stuff and got a load of free stuff. Also got a Fall Out Boy temp. tattoo. Not that I know who Fall Out Boy is, nor have heard their music, but the tattoo looked awesome. Unfortunately it got rained off. When we went back to the inside of the stadium we left our stuff with Dru and went down to the pit to see Gold Mind Squad (They were the first act so their sound was a bit off, but it was an OK set). I got a couple pictures of the singer but they're not very good. Went back up to the stands after their set and stayed there for ages, lol.
The only bad thing about festivals like that is everything is so outrageously expensive. 4 bucks for a damn bottle of water. But I definitely needed it. I got so hot at one point I couldn't breathe and was getting dehydrated.
The Lineup:
Gold Mind Squad: Decent set. They sounded pretty good. The singer was hot. Only apparently he's a dickhead. He told us a quite touching story. "I went to a party, got drunk, and hooked up with someone. But she was ugly." Ass. X_X GC!Billy was standing offstage during their set.
The Bravery: They were pretty good. I only knew one of their songs, lol.
Louis XIV: Err, I think I may have gone to get food during part of their set, but I liked what I heard of it.
They Might Be Giants: Not a big fan, but they played the Malcolm In The Middle song, LOL.
Interpol: Again, I only knew one of their songs.
Echo and the Bunnymen: Omfg. I really wanted to see them, but they started playing one song, stopped and walked offstage. The singer I guess was having problems with his voice and then they came back played the same bit of the same song, stopped, and walked off again. That fucking sucked.
Garbage: Effing amazing. Shirley Manson is an excellent frontwoman. Theirs was the best of the daytime sets.
New York Dolls: I don't know much about them but I really, really liked them. They sounded amazing and I loved their set.
Social Distortion: I like one of their songs and I got fed up with them halfway through the set because I wanted to see GC.
Good Charlotte: Good Charlotte is love. Even with Benji and his "gangster" look and pink guitar. I wanted to kill Billy though. His hair looks ridiclious, he's go ta little patch of hair that's all black and falls down over his eye and the rest is shaved ><. But the's still so pretty. It was raining so bad during their set but it was well worth it, and they loved it. Jessie and I went down in the pit for a while, but I lost her and went back to the stands. (Angel- I couldn't get photos cos I was too far away but I tried!)
Billy Idol: He was introduced by Bam. I got to see Bam in all his hotness and Don Vito in all his really creepyness. But Bam, so YAY! There's not a lot I have to say. It's Billy fucking Idol. He was the only one the entire stadium was singing along with. It was so amazing and raining halfway through but fuck that. It made sitting through the sun and rain worth it. Best of the entire night. Nearly got stuck in the pit trying to get out but someone pulled me through, lol. Thanks. During "Rebel Yell" instead of saying the line as "a million times for you" he said "six hundred and sixty six times for you" like in HIM's live version. People around me were confused, LOL. I got it!
Coldplay: I don't like Coldplay. Olivia and I didn't watch.
Foo Fighters: Didn't see Foo Fighters either, Olivia and I went out front and couldn't go back in. We were both feeling sick.
I wore the Billy Idol shirt that Kitten got me for my birthday and a lot of people kept walking past me going "Billy Idol fucking rocks!" or something to that effect. Someone also stopped and sang a few lines of "White Wedding" to me X_X. I gained like 50 fanboys yesterday. It was crazy o_O One guy that was walking by told Jessie he loved her and her fake weed necklace and then turned to me and went "I love you too! You're sexy!" and ran down the stairs. o____O People and Balitmore are scary. I didn't go out to the street/local stages cos I was too hot and couldn't be bothered moving, lol. By the end of the night I was cold, wet, cranky, headache-y and ready to go home. Didn't get there till about 1 and took a smoldering bath because I don't need to be sick right before prom.
All in all, it was an amazing night. I had an awesome time.

They told me last night I needed to pick Steve up from work at 12pm and I didn't get home till about 3ish because he wanted to go to the mall and when I signed on you weren't on! *big emo tears* I was looking over our old convos a few minutes ago and it made me all nostalgic and teary-eyed, lol. *loves*
I've got to go to the bank and mall (to get Steve's birthday gift...as his birthday is tomorrow x_X) tomorrow after school but I'll be online straight afterwards.

Is it really possible to just suddenly develop an allergy to something in your house? If it is, then I have. It's probably dust or something because they've made me clean my room. I don't think I've even looked under my bed since January and there's old games/dolls/binders under there from who knows how long ago. I've been coughing and sneezing and feeling ill for three days now. I could hardly breathe Monday and was forced to be running up and down the stairs doing laundry. *dead*
My room turned into an oven and I've got 5 blankets on my bed. I. Am. Crazy. Fact.
Trying to figure out what to do after prom. Emmy and I don't want to go to Prom Breakfast, so we're thinking of going to IHOP. My Mom said it was OK, but I think I also have to take Tony home...I'm not sure, and on top of that, I don't know where he lives. Oy.
HFStival on Saturday. I'm supposed to work, but I've already paid for HFS tickets and I'm not gonna be out 50 bucks and then not go. Sorry, but this is my first concert and I am not missing it.
My brother is being an asshole. I am entirely pissed off at him.

Well really, starting with yesterday. Recieved long-awaited CDs from Kitten in the mail. I lurrrve them all! <33 thaaank you daahlink! Though, I showed my Mom the envelope that the CDs were in and she asked if the person on the front was you. I said "Err...no. That's a Japanese male." and she went "O______O Oooh!" [Also, Stever says he can probably copy the L'arc CD so if so, I'll make us both a copy and send it to you =D]
Had a similar reaction to KH the other day from my friend Megan. I played "Race The Dream" for her and she said "I like their sound, but her voice is a bit rough." and I said "Megan....he's a boy." and she went "NO way! You're kidding! Oh my GOD!" lmao. Gotta love the girly boys.

So, today. Picked up my prom dress. Yes, I have photos, but others need to see them first, so...neh! LOL! No, but really, I promised Angel and Kitten they'd be the first to see the photos of the actual dress when I finally had it. Have been out with my Mom most of the day. Went to Kohl's to find some stuff and ended up getting free mascara from the Flirt! stand (they have great makeup, I bought a bunch back in December) and a really spiffy purse. Went to show a family friend my dress and then went home to show it to my Dad. He said it was "nice" and "it'll probably look better once you wear it." X_X Great. Thanks a lot. But really, I don't care, because I like the dress and really, that's all that matters. Went to take Steve to work, who, because of his great genius, LEFT my HIM CD in the fucking store computer last night while they were closing. Now, I wouldn't really have been all freaked if it was like...Razorblade Romance or something cos I can find another copy real easy but NO! It was And Love Said No, which is nearly impossible to find. I'm lucky I ran across one in Tower. He says he'll remember it tonight, and he damn well better, it's one of my favorites.
Bought rice cakes today. Just because. And a really funky pomegranet juice that started to taste like mashed potatoes after a while O_X then again, I don't trust my sick tastebuds.
Oh yeah. I have strep throat. Fun, eh? X_X

I'm going to visit a nutrionist soon. I've decided that I'm entirely swearing off all fast foods. I'm serious. No kidding around this time. No more soda, no more fast food (with the exception of Subway), not a lot of candy/chocolate/junk. I'm dead fucking serious.

I feel really, really ill right now. X_X I really need to stop eating from McDonalds, its starting to make me sick. I just feel really gross right now. I don't even wanna go to work, but I have to. Cos work = money... etc, you've seen the cycle.
Need three more people for prom limo. It's gonna be pretty cheap $75 a person. Still no date. Still need to call Tony. This is getting really sad. I'm such a chicken >_>
Had to work on Saturday at 7am. SO UNFAIR. Got off at 11 though, went to the mall, bought PLACEBO CD (*dies* It's so fantastic. Makes my little heart happy.) came home and slept until 2ish. Mom took me to dinner and then we did something else that escapes me at the moment. Sunday woke up at noon and got a shower. FINALLY got my car cleaned. Believe me, it was gross. Now it's all pretty and smells like a mix between Vanilla and Jasmine. Took my car to my Dad at his friend's house, and picked up my Mom's Explorer. Went to the mall to show my Mom the hairpiece I want for prom. She said it was nice but she wasn't paying for it. I'll have to save up a paycheck for that. Went upstairs to the movie theatre and said hi to one of the managers. Talked for a bit, she said they missed me and asked when I was going to Scotland. (July is the answer for those I haven't told...which...isn't a lot of people) she asked when I'd come back, I said probably after my trip...though if I do, I may wait until after October...possibly. Not sure. I told her I was getting ready for prom and she asked if I had a date and I said no (correctly: "Not yet." which really, just means no) she asked Ryan if he'd go with me, he sorta mumbled, it was funny.
Still feeling ill. Must leave for work in an hour. Bah.

The start of today was fairly boring. Cos y'know, school. X_X Came home, took Dru and Stever (who was annoying the holy hell out of me) to the mall. Went to the bank, got money, took Dru to work. Got chinese for lunch and watched all of 15 minutes of Anchorman with my brother before I lost interest in it and went upstairs and went to sleep. Slept until 4:39 had to be to work at five. Got up, rushed around, and made it to work in barely enough time.
Nearly hit 70mph going towards the naval acadmey bridge =x
Work was boring, left the CD I wanted to listen to in the car. Though they gave us ice cream. Hell yeah. It was fucking raining when I got off, had a little walk to my car my jacket was throughouly damp. Got home and got online and have officially, and accidentally ventured into a whole new fucked up level of fandom. Firstly, I found a Valo community that makes my little heart happy. Through there, found a Lily Lazer community and pretty pictures, and through them both, found a Vam community. Yes, Vam. (IE: Ville/Bam) Oh dear. Read a fic that nearly made me DIE. I was literally saying "HOLY SHIT DUDE!" through the whole thing. It was that good. Slightly disturbing (when slightly is a HUGE understatement) but very well written.
Joined 15 minute ficlet community. I need to keep up on my writing.
Dru got us our HFStival tickets last night. Fucking RIGHT dude! I'm going to see Billy Idol bitches! *punches air triumphantly*
I need to eat something before I get ill again. I've had fried rice all day, then some junk food and soda o_O I need to eat better, seriously. Not only that, but I need to loose weight. Seriously this time. I'm sick of this.
